Our Beliefs

Our beliefs are centred around the following:

  • Jesus is the only way to God
  • God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3 verse 16)
  • Jesus died to set us free from our sinful nature
  • After his death, Jesus rose from the dead and now sits at the right hand of God
  • Jesus will return again to the earth at a time known only to God
  • God has three, equal, aspects: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit
  • We have all sinned and need God's forgiveness and yet we are accountable to God for our words, thoughts and actions
  • Salvation is a free gift from God given by his grace (Salvation cannot be bought of earned)
  • We have a new (spiritual) birth through the acceptance of Jesus as our Saviour
